Here I would like to share my fourth story, "A Story Of life...."
I tried writing this in my pass time:) (when am in bench! in response to my friend's request...)
Thanks to my friend for motivating me to write /scribble this:) Which ever you m8 feel right to map with:)

A Story Of Life...

Myself, Harshini……..On the bus Tuticorin to Kerala.

Nice Breeze, waving me, I am leaning beside the opened window in the Bus closing my eyes. It was very romantic. I could hear the most convincing Tamil song “Santhithomae kanaakalil oru muraiya, palamuraiya….Anthivaanil ulaavinom, Athu unakku ninaivillaya….” in my ipod.

Though I was sitting just next to my mom, I was not here completely. My heart took me away, to the one whom I love the most. Yes, To my Guy, Jai, whom I consider my life and the one I wish to keep seeing the whole of my life. It’s him who is deep in my heart. My heart beat counts very rapidly but, time seems to pass very slow. Each second appears to be minute and every minute appears to be an hour. I am counting the hours.

Its 2.30a.m now, Still three more hours to see my darling’s face. I am on the journey to my native Kerala for my cousin’s wedding ceremony. It’s at these functions, we relatives used to meet each other and We have get together. Whenever I close my eyes, I could see his face, which looks like a bright Sun in my heart. I simply love spending time thinking about him and I see him living with me in my toughts.

Untold love gives unbounded happiness always…!

Yeah, I haven’t declared my love for him yet. It’s the usual fear that everyone has. What happens, If he rejects my proposal. So, I waited for the right time to propose him. If else, Decided to keep it as untold love.

He is my relative. He lived in Bangalore with his Parents. We were settled in Tuticorin for my Dad’s job. Being Kerala as our native. We used to meet when we are there for any functions or vacations. We find chance to meet very rarely, may be once in a year.

Its just a cousin sort of relationship I had with him till my schoolings. There was nothing more than this relative sort of feeling for him. There were days, when I used to long for speaking with him. Basically I am a girl who has lots of Shyness, So I have never approached to speak to him. But, used to always look at him silently. He is a silent person and a studious guy, Who keeps on studying his next year syllabus in the annual holidays. Whenever I could recall his childhood, I could remember him sitting with his book, before him.

It was during my high school, I started talking with him. I used to feel happy when I am next to him. Then we slowly shared things, We exchanged our e-mail ids. We used to exchange ideas and views in e-mails. That was the period, internet came into existence for casual use. We used to exchange “Miss you” cards, “Friendship” cards and so on. I could still remember an e-mail from him stating me as “sweet heart”. My heart felt joy, seeing that word. But, I don’t know how to take it. I read the mail again and again. The word “Sweet heart” found to be sweater than ever. Since, It’s him who said that na…!

I finished my higher secondary exams and was waiting for my results. The day came, when results were published. He was doing his First year engineering. He called me up and was asking for my Roll number So that, He could get my results. I gave him my Exam Roll number. I was waiting keeping my hands crossed. In few minutes, he rang me back again. With a pleasant happy voice, He said “Hey Congrats!, You have scored good!” and He told me the marks which I got. It was a decent score. It was that time, I realized he s very lucky for me…

He called me from his hostel. I could hear peoples voice behind him, uttering his name. I could guess that’s his friends. I asked him who are they and why do they call your name?. He replied with low voice, that, They are his friends and they are teasing him for talking with me. Those words gave me joy. I liked people correlating him with me. It gives me pleasure. But, I did not tell him anything then.

After Schooling and I was thinking about my Graduation. But not sure about which field to choose. My Father suggested me Engineering, My mom was suggesting Arts group. My Brother suggested B.Arch. But my wish was doing Fashion Technology. Like everything which happened in my life, this was also done according to my Fathers wish. Engineering won the battle among Arts, B.Arch and Fashion Technology.

Now the next thing is Choosing my discipline in Engineering. But without any problem, We ended up with ECE with few suggestions. At this time my Brother’s marriage got fixed. After which I would be called for counseling dates.

Usually, our side marriages will be done at our native. So, We went to Kerala, my native, before one month of my brothers marriage. Those days had a great impact in my life. I was little bit worried about my Brother’s marriage. Since, I feared that “marriage” will introduce gap between my brother and me. I have seen many guys going away from their parents after marriage. I was very fond of my brother. These thoughts filled in fear in me. I was looking quite upset and feared due to this.

The day of marriage came. People were very busy and in hurry due to marriage works. All the relatives were seen coming to the marriage hall in autos, buses and cars.

I was dressed up neat in Saree. I was standing beside my brother and was also welcoming those who were coming to the marriage. My eyes were searching for him. But, I couldn’t find him. Then, Shilpa, his sister came near me. I welcomed her and enquired her, where her brother is. She said, Only you din see him still, But, My brother saw you and He said me that, you were in Saree.

I was searching him still. Then he came before me with a smiling look. He was looking awesome. I could not take my eyes from him. He came near me, and introduced a guy who was standing beside him. His Friend, Lalit. He introduced me to Lalit. I could not talk to him more since I was busy with marriage works. I moved from him unwillingly.

The marriage got over and almost everyone have finished their lunch. When I was busy with work, I crossed him. I asked him to have his lunch. He said He will wait for me. His care for me impressed me. My other cousins have finished their lunch. But, He waited for me. My brother and sister-in-law were sitting together for their lunch and Next to them, Its me and him.

We had our lunch and was relaxing, talking to each other. Lalit came and was teasing him. Lalit said, Jai was not normal now a days and He feels hungry but he could not eat, He could not sleep and so on. I was also kidding Jai at Lalits comment about him. But, Something pinged me that “is there some inner meaning in Lalit’s statement?” Why should Lalit tell that to me.

We took many photos together. I was really happy spending time with him. We played. We shared thoughts. We were together for five whole days. Five days, those were the happiest memories of my life. They give my life a complete meaning. I cherish them.

He had a pen with him. I thought of having that pen as his memory. So, I took it from his pocket. But, He got it from me back stating that he would get me a new pen. So, I gave it back to him. In the mean time, I forgot that pen matter.

Then it was the fifth day after my brothers marriage. We were in our relatives home. Everyone was busy with their works. We were seeing photos in the system. I was sitting beside him. He held my hands gently and gave a soothing press. I could not realize whats happening. But I was excited by his touch. I could not give him my hands and at the same time, My heart longed for that. It was just a fraction of minutes. We came back to our senses and I took my hands back out of shyness.

They were about to leave after my brothers marriage. He gifted me a present. I was happy to see his gift box. His first gift for me. I opened the gift box. There was a small ceramic doll, its “Love Birds” making love to each other. It’s a cute present.

He took a plain paper and wrote his name and his hostel address where he stays and his friends contact number. He gave me that saying that, “this is my contact number, call me when you are free”.

They were packing up the things. I felt heard at the bottom of my heart. I felt like asking him not to go. But, no words. He too felt upset upon moving to Bangalore. I was feeling like crying and tears came down my eyes. Everyone was inside the home. I was standing in the balcony to send them off. He and his parents were started and He was seeing me turning around till he crossed the entire road. He would have seen atleast seven to eight times before the end of that road.

I could feel his love in his eyes. I felt his love in those five days in which we were together. I was missing him more for the first time in my life. The marriage photos came. Every one were very eager to see how they look in the photos. But, my eyes searched for him in the photos. I steeled one of his photo and kept it in my bag without anyone’s knowledge.

It was during that time, I realized that the feelings that I have for him is not jus friendship, Its even more than that. Its called Love. Yes “I LOVE HIM”.

After I reached Tuticorin, I got a call from his house. His mom spoke to me, Then I talked with his Sister and Then I asked her sister about him “Where s your brother?”. She handed over the phone to him. While He was speaking, He lowered his voice and said me that, He is sorry for not giving me the pen which I wished for. Because, People used to say that, presenting pen, would destroy the relationship.

I was very happy that he is much concerned about our relationship. His each move made me feel that He likes me very much. My love towards him started growing more and more.

I was waiting for my counseling. It was one day more for my counseling.

That day, He called me up. He and his mom were speaking to me over phone. They suggested me for taking up the Course in the college where, He s studying. I was also interested to get into his college. But, my mom refused it. Since, If I take his college then I have to stay far away from home and should be in hostel.

So, I chose a college which is near our place and stayed in hostel. Since, travelling hour ll be three hours. It was during my stay at Hostel, my feelings towards him became more and more strong. I used to call him daily. I used to mail him. Even If I fail to call him, He used to scold me for not calling. The day without speaking to him went horrible. I used to send him cards and gifts from my hostel to his place. The care and affection he had for me, took him more close to my heart.

Days passed, We were over phone for hours and hours. I used to call him almost everyday. Used to spend time standing in PCO queue. Posting letters to him became usual. Exchanging mails happened often. My love towards him became more and more. I started believing He is also in love with me. But that thought was more pronounced in my heart. Days passed talking with each other and night passed meeting him in dreams. We met once in every year.

One day, I called him from a phone booth…

“Hi Jai, How are you?”
“Hmmm…I am fine Sharmili, How are you?”
“Fine. Where are you now?”
“In my friend’s room. They have arranged for a party.”
“Party? What sort of party? Beer?”
“yeah…Its also there…(with giggle)”
“Hey, will you have that?”
“No dear. I wont have that. Only my friends will have.”
“Hey….Really?”
“I swear dear. I am always true to you…”
…………

I am always true to you. Those words were ringing on my head and heart.. I was really happy to hear those words from him. They seem to have more meaning in them.

Slowly, I became an addict to him. I could not stay without talking with him. I started realizing what I am doing. Though, I felt happy being with him, My brain said, I should not do this, Since, I was brought up in an environment that, “LOVE” before marriage is not permitted. He was also brought up in the similar environment. So, I tried being without him. I reduced calling him. I started avoiding him.

That’s the great mistake, I did.

“The rubber band stretched over a paper, when released, gets propelled with maximum force. The spring when pressed more and more, will ping higher and higher”.

The more I tried to forget him, the more I started to think him. I became very mad about him.

My second year. I came to know from my parents that we have a function at our native. The next thought which came to my mind was Jai. He is in his third year. He ll also be coming to this function. I started concentrating on my looks. How to dress on the day of the function. I was doing facial packs. All I had in my mind was, I must look good to Jai.

The day came and we were at the function hall. The place was very crowded. Everyone welcomed and It was talks all over. I was searching for Jai around. I looked a full view through out the hall. But I could not find him any where.

I lowered my eyes with disappointment. I could hear Shilpa’s voice from behind. It’s She. Next to her was Jai. I lowered my face out of shyness. But he was not found much happier.

I was puzzled behind the reason for his unhappiness. I approached him inorder to ask him the reason for his dullness. But he avoided me. He was moving away from me. Whatever He talked to me was just a formality talks. I could not understand the reason behind that. I tried making him tell the reason for his behaviour, But of no use. He was avoiding me. I could barely find that. He has changed a lot.

I was searching for the right time to talk with him. It was when He entered the kitchen for getting some drinking water to his mom. I followed him. No one was around him. I realized that this would be the exact time to ask him for the reason.

I started asking him.

“Jai, What’s wrong with you?”
“what?”
“Jai, Don’t pretend as if you don’t know anything. You were not as usual”
“Oh, Is it so?”
“Yes”
“But, I am normal”
“You have changed a lot Jai”
“May be!”,uttering this, he left the place. And I could not tell anything more.

I don’t know what to do. But I was sure that He started to avoid me for some reason. The function was over and Everyone departed bidding farewell. His family also started and He too went with them.

Exactly like the last time, I was standing in the balcony. They left my uncles house gate. I was seeing from the balcony. He did’nt turn to see me this time. I was longing to see his face. But He left without turning.

According to Jai:

He too started liking me a lot. He too has the same fear in him. If this is love, will the parents accept? So He started avoiding me. He does not want to induce any Expectations in me. Due to this Love, there must not arise any disputes in our family relationships. We are relatives and We will be forced to meet in future. If any undesirable things happen between us, then it wont be pleasant to even face each other. Moreover, Ours is a community in which LOVE before marriage is considered a sin. He too has a younger sister, If he gets love marriage then obviously, People will hesitate to choose his sister as their daughter-in-law.

We too started from my native. I returned back to Tuticorin with the heart full of burden.

I tried calling him. But, no reply from the other-side. Gradually, There was a gap between us. Mails got reduced, phone calls diminished, no letters. But still, I was thinking about him. He was in my heart. I started living with him. I loved him more and more. It never diminished. The nights went weeping. The pillow became my best friend. Since, Only, it knew my sorrows.

Thinking about these, tears came out from my eyes. I whispered myself, “I love you, Jai”. I wish to be with you. I would like to spend my life with you. I should rest on your shoulders. Should sleep seeing you, should take care of you, Should share your happiness and sadness, should give you joy and happiness. With my tears dropping on my hands, I realized I am travelling in bus.

Now Its 5.00a.m. Going to reach my native. Still only half an hour more.

Its 5.30a.m. We got down from the bus. The car waited at the bus stand to pick us. We got into it and In another 15 mins we reached my uncle’s house. Everyone greeted us and gave us a warm welcome.

My uncle came near me, he was talking to me.

“Harshini, How are you my child?”
“Mama, I am fine”
“You are in which year?”
“Third year, Mama”
“How is your studies going on?”
“Its going fine mama.”
“Oh good dear, Have you got any placements?”
“Yes, TCS”
“Congrats dear”

While talking, My aunt was calling him from inside for a help. He went off. I was searching for Jai. I was going around the house. But He s not there. I asked my ammachi about Jai’s family. She replied they are on the way and they ll come in another one hour.

Within that I refreshed myself and had my breakfast. I was starring at the gate for their arrival. I was waiting for the moment to come. My mom called me to help them at kitchen. As I was helping them in cutting vegetables, I could hear the sound of the Ambassador outside our house.

I rushed out to see who’s that. I left everything as it is and was at the front door. The cars front door opened, It was him. I was very happy seeing him. I could feel thousand butterflies flying around inside my stomach. What a nice feeling It is.

This time, He greeted everyone and also me as I was standing with others. I was just gazing at him. The day went nice. The function was almost over. We had rare conversation. Just one or two.

Everyone was having their dinner. It was time, everyone will start to their place. I was very much worried that He dint talk to me.

Everytime, I used to compromise myself, by saying “He likes me”. And this time, “Words play much less role, when there is love” suits me well to compromise on.

We started from our native. With the satisfaction that I have seen him, I too started. After reaching Tuticorin, I could not concentrate on my studies. It was his thoughts that come to my mind. I decided to tell him, what I feel.

So, I made up my mind and reached the internet café near by. I opened my mail box and composed a mail. I wrote the text, stating my love for him. And before I could bag my thoughts back, I pressed the “send” button.

I could see, “Your message has been sent”. It has reached his mail box.

After two days, I opened my mail. I found his name in my inbox. My hands rushed to that. When I opened, it was a long text message.

Dear Harshini,

Frankly speaking, don’t be silly. You are my relative. Your parents have good respect on me. Even your brother has good thought about me. My parents believe me a lot. I wish not to loose these things. I don’t want to spoil such a good name of mine. Lets be jus good friends and only friends. There is no place for love in my life. I can never think about love at any cost. You concentrate on your studies and your career.

I will not avoid you for this. Lets be GOOD FRIENDS and just friends.

As I found this mail, Tears flowed out from my eyes. Though I expected this from him, I could not digest this. The one, whom I love has rejected me.

According to me, Love must be mutual. It won’t come by forcing or compelling. Its something magical and should be felt from with-in.

I didn’t talk to him then. According to him, We must be friends. And He has told his sister that “He likes me. But, This love would spoil our families good terms” So let it not be a successful one.

He also told me when I called him through phone, “He needs me to marry some one else”

“Jai, you use to talk to me for hours and hours. I used to stand in long PCO queues, wait for hours and will contact you in your friends number. But now…” I paused.
I continued, “Now we have mobiles in our own, but could not speak to each other”

“yeah, That day, There s nothing between us and also We din have mobile. But today, We both have mobile and you are in love”

“Wont you ever talk to me again, Jai?”
“I will, You get engaged with a bridegroom whom your parents choose. I will speak to you then. My happiness is you must forget me and get married to another guy, according to your parents wish”

His words pronounced his hatred towards me. He started not to attend my calls. Not even replying my message. Slowly I understood, He wishes not to be disturbed by me.

Then I stopped calling him. My parents started seeing alliance. They din ask my opinion. Even If they ask also, My opinion wont sound large before their options.

I didn’t get into any discussions regarding my marriage with my parents. They were seeing horoscopes, Photos, etc. They asked my photo but I was not interested. So they gave one of my recent photograph which was taken casually.

I used to go home daily without any attachment with these marriage proposal. My only faith is in God. He must give me strengths to accept anything that happen. I made up my mind such that I must be ready to accept anything that will happen.

“Only the Life lived for others is the life worthwhile.”

Yeah, If I get married, Jai will be happy. My parents will be happy. I must change my mind to satisfy the one who is going to own me, My Husband.

“Lives of many People ends the same way. They love a person, But accept things that come their way. Many girls cry within themselves. Their tears are left unanswered. Their sadness are known only to the pillow, Their best friend. Their love left without being reciprocated.”

“Deep within each person, there is a love. Either told or un-told. Single sided or double sided. It will be either success or a failure. Some accept it and some don’t.”

This is my brush holder, which i created recently....This has two identical golden fishes painted on two pieces of charts....and the center holder is made of colour chart of greater thickness....

I made a round holder using the thicker chart piece..and to decorate it, I pasted the two cut pieces of drawn fishes on the either side of the holder....

Tips for Displaying Your Original Art Painting

1. Your art is an extension of who you are because it reveals what you love. Remember that you are trying to personalize your home with this art.

2. Position artwork at “eye level” so that it is viewed with ease and more readily captures the passerby’s attention.

3. Cover two thirds of the space above furniture with one or more pieces of art to achieve proper proportion.

4. If you want to place a painting above a sofa, it should be placed about 6-9 inches above it.

5. You might want to try displaying your original on an easel in a corner, bookcase or desk.

6. Paintings help absorb noise and remove the empty sound.

7. Artwork helps create the ambience of a room. You can change the look and feel of a room by hanging pictures in particular ways and places.

8. You can lengthen a room by adding paintings with horizontal lines. This creates an illusion of a longer room.

9. You can enlarge a narrow room by hanging a large colorful painting on one side and adding a mirror to the adjacent wall.

Dr.Rudh-The Hero!!!

It was entirely dark within the room except the ray of a light lamp which covered some distance around the lamp. Irfan, who was sleeping in the bed next to the light pedestal. Irfan woke up from sleep by the sound of the footsteps and he heard it louder. Irfan reached the door of his room and verified if there is any one outside his room. It was none found outside. Finally he made himself believe that it must be his imagination and went back to his bed. After 10 to 5 mins he heard the sound of opening door. He opened his eyes and found a person standing in front of him…

In fifteen feet away, with in the bedroom, the mountainous silhouette of the person stared at him. He was thin and tall, with ghost-pale white skin and thinning short hair. He was n a black suite covering his whole body including his face.

Irfan could find a material in the hands of the silhouette which was shining in the light provided by the light lamp. That was nothing but the sharp knife which was aimed at Irfan. Soon Irfan fled from his bed and stood beside the light lamp. Irfan made himself to parry a blow at the attacker. There was a heavy fight between the person and Irfan …Finally the man n black suites attacked Irfan with the knife he had… Irfan was found horrible lying in his own blood.

The man in black suite started from the room. Finally he smiled at the body of Irfan and left the place...

Pavan woke up from his usual night mare. Every thing came to his mind again. It was not like a dream. It was like everything happened in reality…He tried to recall his dream again… Irfan, one of his friends doing his medical in some well known university…He was lying in his bed…being killed horribly by an anonymous person…

He looked at the watch it was 6.00 o’clock in the morning…He tried ringing his friend Irfan, but his cell was in out of range…

Pavan was very much tensed this time because this was not the first time he gets such night mares…And this doesn’t stop with just dream…That exactly happens every time…It was Samir, Anwar and Michel who were murdered exactly at the night in which he dreamt…And they were exactly murdered as the way he found in his night mare…Samir, Anwar, and Michel were also the students of the same medical college as that of Irfan and Pavan…

This time Pavans heart throbbed wilder…He was very much afraid of what he had seen in his dream…He tried again and again to Irfan’s mobile but it was of no use…At last he decided to go and meet Irfan in person…He took his bike Karishma’s keys and rose into the streets of the city and headed towards Irfan’s home…

He reached Irfan’s house…It was very crowded. Police jeeps and Ambulance were found outside his house…He was blocked by a constable at the entrance of Irfan’s house…Pavan enquired the constable about, what has happened…and why the Police were here?

The constable replied Pavan that there was a murder happened here last night…and we were investigating about the murder…He also asked Pavan what’s his relation with the person lived here…Pavan told the constable that Irfan and him were friends and we were studying in the same college…

Pavan was shocked seeing the corpse of his friend Irfan…He was murdered cruelly in the same way he was murdered in his dream…

As Pavan was very much afraid to face any cases and court, He hided the details of today’s dream and his dream with the last murders too…

Pavan thought of consulting a doctor to seek some mental help regarding this dreams…He went to a renowned and leading psychiatrist Dr.Rudh to take some medical advice…Pavan told the Doctor that he is getting some night dreams and in the same night they are happening in reality and in the exact manner he had in his dream…

Pavan also said that there was exactly a month gap between the happenings…that is his first dream was in the first day of July, second dream was in the second day of august, third dream was in the third day of September…But he did not mention about what he saw in his dream and also about those murders…Since he thought it might invoke some problems to him… Dr.Rudh called him for the analysis and treatment…Many treatments were given to Pavan…he was advised to take some tablets…

It was 4th October, 11.00 o’clock. It was dark again…heavily raining outside…It was Dr. Rudh’s house…Found quite calm…Dr.Rudh fell asleep while reading a boring novel…

It was the same person who murdered Irfan …This time he was found wearing a long rain coat…He approached Dr.Rudh’s bed room…Dr.Rudh woke up at the foot steps reaching his door…He could find only the silhouette of the Person standing in front of him…The albino drew a pistol from his coat and aimed at Dr.Rudh…Dr.Rudh crawled backwards from his bed and hit in the wall back to him…He had no other way to escape…Dr.Rudh asked the Albino who he is…?Albino lowered his face mask and Dr.Rudh was very shocked on seeing the Guys face…With out leaving any time to Dr.Rudh, to talk further, the person aimed at Dr.Rudh….The very next moment the gun got fired…The riffle’s sound broke the silence of the atmosphere and the railing sound added up…

5th October, 7.00 o’clock…Dr.Rudh’s house…the street was filled with chaos…ambulance and police jeeps were found in the street…It was Dr.Rudh speaking to Mr.Malhotra, Deputy Commissioner of Police…Thank you Mr.Malhotra for your immediate help…If you did not come yesterday on behalf of my request I would have not been alive today…

Mr.Malhotra interrupted Dr.Rudh saying that, Its because of your help we were able to trace a killer who was responsible for the past murders…Sir, How did you suspect Pavan?

Actually this guy Pavan, he is my patient. He came to me last month ….He told me that he was getting some dreams and they happen the same way in reality, as happened in the dream…Then I took him through various steps of analysis and treatments…

It was during the section of mind reading, he told me that he was very much angry with the first mark students and the bright students of his college…And all the staffs used to insult him by comparing with these bright students…So he developed an ill feeling with his class mates…He started hating his classmates , who were very brilliant, profession …and he planed of murdering those students and even the leading doctors…And he planned of starting it with me…then I guessed the date comparing with the relations of his previous murders and I informed you about this…

He does all these things without his conscience…These things appear to him as a dream…He s a Psycho patient…and he must be given a regular treatment…

Government Hospital (GH)…Pavan was lying unconscious in the bed…Police were found around him…He gathered his conscious and he realized some pain in his shoulder…That was the place where he was shot by the police to safe guard Dr.Rudh…He opened his eyes and found that he was attended by a doctor over there…Dr.Naveen was written in the doctors name badge….Dr.Naveen was the person who is attending him now…

Two months passed…Pavan got discharged and he was admitted in Dr.Rudh’s clinic for his treatment…And he was excused by the court for his crime, due to his mental disorder and was ordered to undergo a treatment…

New York….one of the biggest cities in the world….the business capital of the world…Every breath of the city, every heartbeat is filled with speed…people are always in a hurry here, in a hurry to leave home, In a hurry to reach the office, always in a hurry to be a step or two ahead of life. There is no place for anyone who can't cope here.

Miles away from India, this city is infested with Indians. In fact, they say every fourth face in New York is an Indian...

It's me, Manisha doing my high studies here…I also carry out my part time job in the evening. It was only a month passed I came here…The very moment I came here I was very happy to enter this new world…But as the day passed I started realizing my loneliness around me…I missed my parents, brother, relatives, friends, mothi (my sweet pet), neighbors, food, etc…
But the only thing that consoles me s the one and only friend I got here, Reshmi...unfortunate friend of mine. She s the one came with me here to join her higher studies…She s engaged and very much concerned about her fiancé… She used to be found hanging around with her mobile fone talking with her man… She had only a short time for me…

The work I got here made me forget all ma worries, since I was busy with ma studies and the work…I had no time to think anything else…I was occupied till my week end…It was during ma week ends I feel very sad, missing ma home…

This Saturday, I ve planned to go out for shopping …I got into the tram, sitting there , I was jus thinking about the most happiest days of mine…my home…Thinking that tears flowed out from my eyes with out my conscience…realizing myself getting out of control, I jus distracted myself with the things going around me…

I got a phone call…picked up ma fone and found only numbers being displayed in the id…that was also a number from New York…I picked up and gave it to ma ears…That voice told me that, he got a missed call from this number a minute ago…But am sure that I did not make any calls to anyone that time…he argued me…that irritated me a lot…I could realize that the voice is of an Indian…

Atlast he told me the truth that he was jus trying out some numbers randomly…I did not believe his words...Then he convinced me by telling his number…mine and his number had difference in only two digits…

Then this missed call became ma friend…He is Pavan, working here in a MNC…We planned to arrange for a meet…we have fixed it this Saturday…at LiverPool…in a restaurant…

I was dressed as usual and I went to Liverpool to meet Pavan…I waited there at the restaurant …A tall fair guy, with handsome look came in searching for some one...I guessed it was him, Pavan…Since he has described me how he ll look and the color of the dress in which he ll come. I jus waved ma hands to bring his attention towards me…once he got ma gesture, he approached me with a stylish walk and a mesmerizing smile in his face…He was smarter than what I had imagined…

It was a small talk and we decided to leave that day…he dropped me at ma house…he used to call me daily and we started speaking for hours...I forget time passing away whenever I talk to him…It was him who usually call me up…he has a nice voice that I used to admire quite often…but I failed to admit it open…

He often comes to ma house …He used to wait for me to pick me up from my classes…He is a person with caring nature, he consoles me whenever I get the feeling of ma home…I got ma happiness refilling around me…

The other day he called me up and told me that he wants to tell some thing to me…so he asked me to come to the place where we met at first…Liver Pool…But not to that restaurant…this time it was a sea side…I was dressed up in a saree to go for temple…I started to Liver Pool after going to temple.

I was baffled of what he was going to say…many thoughts were going in me…I reached there…This time it was him who was waiting for me…That was a nice place…many birds were found to be in groups, many in pairs…That was a nice scenery…

It was nearly ten to fifteen minutes we were found silent…Finally I started to break the silence…Pavan, wats the matter? wats the meaning in being silent…?Then he started talking…he was meaningless. He talked something …I knew it was not the exact thing he was coming to say…I jus stopped him…

He raised his head and looked at me straight. I was shocked to see his eyes filled with water…I kept my hands on his shoulders and asked him "what happened?"

He once again told me, "I wanna tell you something…"

Hmm…c'mon say me…wat ever you want to say…

He continued,"I've something on ma mind from sometime now. I don't know wats your opinion about that, but still I thought of putting forward my thoughts…"

The matter is...the matter is... "I....I..I like you and I can't live without you…I love you…this s the correct time to say you my love…since my parents are finding me a better-half…If I fail to say you now then I can't say for my entire life time…."he continued.

I asked him to jus stop teasing me…but he made me realize that he was serious…
I told him that I'm sorry and I can't enter into relationship right now…

Then we left each other to our houses…I felt hard to sleep that day…my thoughts were jus roaming around him…I dono what reply to give him…

It was two days passed after that…But no calls from Pavan, even no messages. Every time the fone rings, I jus rush up to take it…I could feel his absence…But my heart doesn't accept me to get into such relation…I couldn't find Pavan such upset…I like finding him with joy and happiness…finally I made up my mind and heart to fulfill the desires of Pavan…yes, m going to accept his proposal…

Finally I prepared myself to call him up…I used to dial him up and cut it…This s my twelfth time I dial him…this time I managed to talk to him…It was his office number…

I realized that, The voice at the other end was not of Pavans…I asked the person to connect it to Pavan…But he said he was in leave and did not come to the office from yesterday…

I couldn't catch him through his mobile fone, since, it was also switched off…then I managed to go to his house to meet him and tell my love for him…

I hired a cab and reached his house…I rang the door bell and waited to get opened…It was 5 mins after which the door opened…It was Pavan who opened the door…But he looked drowsy and found to lose his stamina…started to fall to the ground…I jus lifted him up and took him to his bed…He was running out temperature…

I took care of him and gave him first aid. Then I took him to the nearest hospital…Then I stayed with him that night due to his illness…He was also happy about my presence with him…
The next day he got his health better and I told him that its time for me to take a leave…He caught my hands and I turned to see him with lots of love for him…I lost myself in his eyes…I realized his love and I told him my love for him…

My mom called me and told me that they are looking for alliances for me…I dono how to tell my love to my parents…they sad that they've mailed me the bride's photo and his details…they also said that, he also resides in the same city where I live…and he s working for a MNC here…
Since I had no guts to tell my love through phone, I planned to mail them. When I opened ma mail box, I found the subject field of the mail they had sent…its here…
Sub: Pavan, working in MNC, NY.

My thoughts were dazzling for a moment…I opened the mail again…I was astonished to see that it was the photo of my man, Pavan…

I was in joy…I realized how lucky I am…and I rang up my mom and told my acceptance of this alliance…they were happy too…

Next day, I dressed up myself to tell him about our marriage…I went to his house and told him too..he was also very happy and we were both awaiting for that precious occasion of our life…
The next month we have our marriage on 16…that is September,16…we are going for our nation, India…now m going to meet ma parents, friends, relatives, my brother, moti, with my beloved Pavan…
My first invitation is for yu…..do attend ma marriage…:)!

the first story i penned....My Dream Gal....!

School the most lovable place of mine. Two gangs of students always fighting each other for silly things, crazy staffs, strict principal, encouraging correspondent, jovial watch man, canteen dishes…..the most unforgettable place of anyone, “school”!.

Tat’s the last day of our schooling. Lots of tears for leaving our dear ones and Lots of fears to face an entirely new world. We visited d very places of our school where we hang most of d times and recalled our happiest days….

It’s me Pavan of twelfth standard B section with great hardness n the heart to leave my favorite place and people.

Now am waiting for my results. Being an above average student m expecting to get about 85%. Hope I would get a seat in a reputed engineering college. With lots of expectations to see the next part of my life.

As I’ve lots of time to get my results and to join the college, I have planned to start to my granny’s house by tomorrow. Her habitat being in Kerala, a place with natural wealth and nice hearts. The place which I hang out most often is d garden at my granny’s house. A calm lake flows behind it. I used to forget all my worries when I go there. The lake takes away my tears into it all the time.

My Granny, the most affectionate soul to me and I too like her a lot. I used to spend most of my times with her in my childhood. She used to make sweets for me and tell me lots and lots of stories that I would like to hear. But, due to my tenth and twelfth standard studies I did not visit her for these three years.

Thinking about leaving to my Granny’s house, I went to sleep after packing my things.
Now m going to Kerala from my place Chennai .m waiting for my train, Kerala express. I have finished my dinner at the station hotel itself. I m going to Kerala alone since my parents are employed, they could not accompany me.

Now my thoughts were sticking at the incident that happened on the way to station. An old lady who was fighting a lot to carry her heavy things, seemed to fall at the centre of the road while crossing. I hurried myself to help her out. But before I could do tat, it happened. A girl from the other side pulled old women aside and saved her life. The entire road collapsed as a result. But I was looking at the girls silly and cute expressions. They impressed me a lot. As the time was nearing for my train I moved from tat place. But the little angels face was pictured n my mind.wen ll I see her again?

My allocation was an upper birth no 45 of compartment S5. It’s my habit tat I used to check out the names of the people n my compartment n the verification list at the entrance of the coach.

The train whistled. It has started and I reached my boogie and made myself comfortable n my birth. As I was tired I went asleep n minutes. Suddenly I heard an alert n my cell of an incoming message.wen I opened my eyes…….?!

I can’t believe what I saw. It was the same angel whom I met jus few minutes ago! Whom I was very eager to meet again. She was just lying opposite to me.

I recalled the name slip I surfed before. Ya her name must be Manisha.., of age 16. My eyes did not work with me….it refused to close the lids…I was just peeping at her. I wish I could talk to her of something. The main thing is I wanna hear her sweet voice.

I didn’t find time passing. The only thing running in my mind is the girl…I thought it would be nice if this minute freezes n my life…She was sleeping so tired and I could find a calmness in her face tat added to her beauty a lot….When I was staring at her, she suddenly opened her eyes and looked at me..She gave a light smile…at that moment I was totally lost…I realized myself as the happiest person in this world. The entire coach seems to be sleeping and now she s fallen asleep again..I could hear a great sound that seemed to blasts my tympanic membrane in my ear…For a moment I cant understand what’s happenening.Every one in the compartment seemed to hear that sound. We jus peeked out of the window to find what’s happening. We couldn’t believe what’s happening, for the first time my heart throbbed wilder. The scene which I saw was horrible. The train was moving over the bridge and the front end of the train started to slip into the valley below…The scene was filled with chaos. Everyone was trying to escape out of the train. Some jumped by the side door. I m totally confused of what to do.

The boogie in which I m there also had a trembling shook and started to fall…The next moment I could feel a great pain in my leg. I struggled to open my eyes. The next sight that my eyes got was the train was found upside down and no one was found to be with consciousness…Full of blood, every one was found to be hurt and many died…I m searching something…yes I m searching the girl, Manisha….JUS seeing around with great pain in my body…still looking around, my eyes are not stopping…oh my God, for a moment I was dead…the girl was found horrible covered with her blood all over her body…I hesitated a minute to near her. Then I gathered all my courage to approach her…found that, there was no life in her. Yes, it was her Corpse that I got….! Alas! What can I do! I found myself losing my consciousness all I can find now is dark…nothing is visible….the world retrieved itself form my vision. But I can feel my heart beating wild again, more and more…..

Suddenly I heard a ringing of a cell phone…Ya, that’s my mobiles ringing tone that rang….I opened my eyes and fund myself lying in my bed at my house…….Thank God! Everything was just a dream…. Jus got my breath back again…that’s a really a horrible dream I got! With a great relief from the dream, I attended the call…..That was my Granny at the other end saying “hello…..” she enquired about my arrival…and told that she will be arriving at the station to pick me up….

The next day I started my travel at home…my mom wished me a very happy and safe journey….I got her wishes smiling at her and thinking about the last nights dream….But I didn’t say her anything about that since she would be worried much more of my travel…and even cancel it!

I left the house thinking of whether I would meet the girl of my dream………”MANISHA…”!

We are celebrating mothers day, fathers day, valentines day, and so on…..y not we are not celebrating a day for our city…”Chennai”?
It’s the time to celebrate our city, Chennai, Madras whatever we call it…….and the day chosen to celebrate Chennai is August 22……this year the celebration is from August 17 to 24.
Y its Aug 22? Why not Aug 21 or 23?
Chennai was once upon a time a cluster of villages till one particular day-August 22, 1639.It was on that day, in that year, that a silver of land was transacted by the east India Company. A year later, the British built Fort St. George. Then the villages around it were brought together. The old and new towns linked up and then the city evolved………
A few years ago, a group of people realized that their home town must be celebrated and this celebration was found to be thanks giving by the city people. And so the madras week was born and a week long celebration took off in the form of walks and talks, exhibitions, and other cultural events……
But this celebration is not popular among people like other celebrations. This must also be celebrate like Diwali, Christmas, Ramzaan……this fest should not only celebrate Chennai’s past but also its present and future…..HAPPY MADRAS DAY!

You can play this game with tooth picks or sticks.take twelve of them.Place them in one straight line on the table.Now challenge a friend to play against you.
The rules are simple:The two of you take turns removing 1, 2, or 3 straws at a time from the line.The one who gets the last straw loses.You ll never be left with the last straw if you go first--and probably, You ll be able to win even if you dont go first.Here's the secret:
Take 3 straws, leaving 13.
At your next turn,leave 9 straws.
At your next turn,leave 4 straws.
at your next turn, leave 1 straw.
Those are the no to remember 13, 9, 4 and 1.

You ll ve a pencil and paper.You can sit at a table to write.No one and nothing will touch your hands.But you still wont be able to write a simple word like "TENNESSEE".How come?
Before you start,practice a little foot movement-a simple circling of one foot under the table.Move your foot clockwise in a circle about asa big as a plate.(When you try this on your friends, sit down and demonstrate the motion for them)
as soon as you get used to that motion, take up the pencil and try to write "TENNESSEE".Dont stop the movement for a second while you're writing.No matter how hard you try, you won't be able to write anything but strange-ooking hieroglyphics.
The secret is that it's difficult to keep two different motions going at the same time.Your hand wants to make the same movements that your foot is making.
But look out:With practice you ll b able to practice this one................
